Ride the Pink Elevator Campaign to Benefit Komen-Michigan & Susan G Komen
Metro Elevator Co., Inc., along with their partner, Clayco Corporation completed its very first Ride the Pink Elevator fund initiative to benefit the Susan G Komen organization at the 618 S Main St. apartment project. Their effort raised $17,934.68 in just a short 90 day period that ran from Jan. 15 through April 15, of this year. The campaign also raised awareness of breast cancer related issues in the community and among the vendors and subcontractors working on this project. Donations collected will support Komen-Michigan's work across the state and country to end breast cancer. The fundraise ceremonial check presentation will be held at the 618 S Main jobsite in front of the pink elevator on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
618 S Main's development team, Limbach Co, McSweeny Electric, SCI Flooring, VFP Fire Systems, In-Site Studio, Turner Landscape, Florstar Sales, Armstrong Industries, Washtenaw Engineering, Kim Landscape & Clayco were among the generous donors to support the Ride the Pink Elevator campaign and Komen-Michigan's cause.
